Orama to Lead Development of Turkiston-Logistik
A Strategic Location with High Potential
Orama Consult is proud to lead the transformation of Turkiston-Logistik, a strategically located logistics complex in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This project will create a modern pharmaceutical logistics hub that meets international standards and supports Uzbekistan’s growing role in regional supply chains.
Turkiston-Logistik is ideally positioned. It sits just 25 minutes from the city center, 15 minutes from the international airport, and 10 minutes from the main railway station. With more than 2 hectares of space, the site is perfectly suited to support regional pharmaceutical distribution.
Project Goals: Capacity, Quality, and Competitiveness
The development of Turkiston-Logistik is designed to support the evolving needs of pharmaceutical manufacturers, distributors, and healthcare providers across Central Asia. Key project objectives of modernizing project include:
- Modernization and certification of existing infrastructure to meet GDP (Good Distribution Practice) and GSP (Good Storage Practice) standards.
- Construction of two new Class A terminals, each 3,000 sq m, to provide an additional 6,000 sq m of high-quality warehouse space.
- Improved storage and distribution quality for pharmaceutical products, including compliance with temperature-sensitive handling requirements.
- Reduction of logistics costs for clients through efficiency and scale.
- Attraction of strategic partners and investors to expand the facility’s capabilities and long-term impact.
Comprehensive Logistics Services
Upon completion, the Turkiston-Logistik hub will offer a full suite of pharmaceutical logistics services designed to meet international standards. This includes the storage of pharmaceutical goods under various temperature conditions, including cold and freezer rooms, as well as comprehensive cargo handling services such as receiving, dispatching, picking, and cross-docking. Inventory and warehouse operations will be supported by a modern warehouse management system (WMS). This ensures transparency and efficiency throughout the supply chain.
In addition, the hub will provide tailored transport and distribution solutions for pharmaceutical clients, and offer customs clearance services to streamline international operations.
