We’re proud to share that Orama has been selected as a strategic partner for one of Central Asia’s most ambitious urban development initiatives—the Smart City project in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was recently signed between Orama and the Assembly of the Economy of Uzbekistan, marking the start of a groundbreaking collaboration that brings innovation, strategy, and sustainability to the heart of the Old Silk Road.

This visionary project aims to transform the Tashkent region into a future-ready urban hub by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and forward-thinking planning. Located at a historically strategic crossroads, the Smart City will serve not only as a model for regional development but also as a gateway for international investment and global innovation.
The initiative will focus on creating advanced infrastructure, energy-efficient buildings, integrated digital services, and smart transportation systems, all designed to improve residents’ quality of life while promoting long-term sustainability. More than just a technological upgrade, the project is deeply committed to honoring the region’s cultural heritage while accelerating its role in the global economy.
At Orama, we are honored to contribute our expertise in strategy, foresight, and sustainable transformation to help shape this bold new vision. With a long-standing presence in Central Asia and deep experience across sectors such as governance, ESG, public health, and infrastructure, we bring both a global perspective and local understanding to this partnership.

As the world increasingly looks to Central Asia as a driver of economic and geopolitical relevance, this project stands as a symbol of what’s possible when tradition and innovation go hand in hand.
The future is being built—right now—and we’re proud to be part of it.
Stay tuned for updates as we help bring this vision to life.
